Peacefully, on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Oakville. Beloved wife of the late Martin John Alkerton and Alexander D. Brown. Dear mother of Bruce, Sharon (Peter de Boer) and the late Wayne Alkerton, step-mother to Wayne Brown (Paula). Loving grandmother of Robert (Brigitte) and Jonathan (Emily). Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating Evelyn's life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Church of the Nazarene, 320 Bronte Road, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
