Passed away peacefully on Friday August 23, 2019 at her home, Post Inn Village in Oakville Ontario. Jennie is survived by her loving daughter Carolyn, her nephew Claude Vincent and his children Marc and Meghan. Jennie was born in Montreal on May 21, 1931 and moved to Oakville in 2001 to be with her daughter and son in law John Quinn. Those who knew Jennie will always remember her love of music, being social and her cheerful personality. Many thanks to the staff at Post Inn Village for helping make Jennie's last six years so wonderful. Jennie was very active and happy there, never lonely, and felt she was part of a very big family. Thank you to those who's kindness, compassion and excellent care made Jennie's last few days so comfortable for her. A funeral service will take place at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Oakville on Friday August 30, 2019 at 10:30 am. Burial service will take place at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Willow Foundation would be appreciated.
