It is with great sorrow that we have lost the best mother and sweetest grandmother Erzsebet Szekely on Wednesday June 28, 2017 with her loving family by her side . Erzsebet is leaving her ever loving daughter Suzanne, cherished son-in-law Chris and her adoring grandsons Ryan and Calvin Rypkema. Erzsebet was born Feb 8, 1928 in Hungary and moved to Canada when our first son, Ryan was born. She has been a big part of our boy's upbringing and our life in Canada. Erzsebet was an amazing entrepreneur with her vineyards in Hungary, great cyclist, super gardener & voracious reader. We celebrate her life and will miss her deeply. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 p.m. on Monday. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Following the service the family welcomes all to a reception at the Oakville Golf Club, 1154 Sixth Line, Oakville.
