Peacefully, on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in his 85th year. Ernie, beloved husband of Alpha. Loved father of Suzanne and her husband Greg and Charles Edward II (Ted) and his wife Marie. Loved Granddad of Christopher (Susan), Meredith (Ken Stratton), Duncan James, Charles Andrew (Virginia), Ashley and Great-Granddad of Emily, Carson, Katherine and Jeffrey. Ernie was predeceased by his brother Charles Edward and sister Dorothy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Paul's United Church, 454 Rebecca Street, Oakville at 11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family with thanks.
