It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eric Durdle on the morning of April 26, 2017 at the young age of 59. Eric will be lovingly remembered by his adoring wife and best friend of 33 years, Deborah Durdle. His cherished children Sherry, Crystal, Jason and Erica. His four grandchildren Samantha, Corason, Camilo, Rowan and his two sons-in-law, Carl and Derek. Eric, a proud Newfoundlander with true down-home hospitality, was known throughout the community for his kindness, compassion and joking personality. A selfless and caring gentle giant with a generous heart who will be forever missed by his extended family and dear friends. A Celebration of Eric's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600) Oakville. If desired, a donation of flowers in memory of Eric would be greatly appreciated.
