Peacefully on Friday, February, 14, 2014 surrounded by his family at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 87th year. Tony, beloved husband of Leonilde. Loved father of Gina, Carla, and Franca and son-in-law Pino Mirizio. Adored grandfather of Paul-Anthony, Dorian, Anthony, Michael and Alyssa. Born in Villa Scontrone, (Prov) L'Aquila, Italy. Tony immigrated to Canada in 1952. Settled in Oakville with his beloved wife Leonilde. Tony was very proud of his family and always had time for them, his friends and neighbours as well as his garden. He will be missed by family, relatives and friends in Italy, Canada and U.S.A.Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4pm and 6-9pm Monday, February 17, 2014. Funeral Mass 3:00pm Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. Interment St. Judes Cemetery.
