We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Emilio Filice on January 8, 2025 after a short battle with liver disease.

Emilio is predeceased by his father and mother, Pietro and Anna Filice.

Emilio will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Silvana, of 43 years. He was a proud father to Peter and Joseph (Lorena) and loving nonno who was crazy for his grandchildren, Chiara and Paolo whom he spoiled with toys, endless treats and wagon rides.  Emilio also leaves behind his sisters, Elena and Nadia. He was a devoted and loyal friend to many.

Emilio had a bold presence that made him easily recognized wherever he went. He will be remembered for his organization, strength and determination.  He was reliable and was only a phone call away whenever you needed him. He recently retired from his career as a sales manager with Owens Illinois for over 40 years and looked forward to spending his retirement doing the things that brought him the most joy – more time with friends and family, playing with his grandkids, and travelling.  Sadly, time was not on his side.

Emilio had a passion for fast cars particularly corvettes and would give you all the facts about most cars without anyone asking. He enjoyed all the latest gadgets and proudly displayed his many collections.

Emilio will be lovingly remembered and celebrated, and will live on in sweet memories through all those who he shared his life with.
