We are devastated to announce the passing of our loving and attentive husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on Saturday, July 22 ^nd after a long battle with cancer. Emanuel was born in Marzamemi, Sicily on May 12, 1947. He immigrated to Canada in 1958. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 33 years Josephine "Joey" (nee Liscio). Beloved father of Joe, Frank (Odette), Emanuel Jr. (Marisa). Loving Nonno to Matthew, Emanuel and Daniella. Dear brother of Rita Salonia (Charlie). He will be missed by nieces and nephews; Vince, Nina, AnnaRita and Corrado. Always remembered by his loving and attentive niece Gina Fievet (Steve), Megan, Stephen, Katie and Jesse, and his nephew and family in Texas and will be remembered by his dear cousins and many good friends. He will be remembered in Italy by Zia Teresa Gianfriddo, Anita and Emanuel (Franca) and all their families. Emanuel was a man who had a zest for life as well as a big magnetic personality. He was a very kind, sensitive, caring and loving man and will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends are welcome to share memories and say farewell at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 followed by a memorial service taking place in the chapel of the funeral home at 6p.m. Memorial donations to the Oakville Hospital Foundation http://www.oakvillehospitalfoundation.com/ would be welcomed.



A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2017 at 7 p.m. at St. Brigids Roman Catholic Church, 300 Wolverleigh Blvd., Toronto Ontario M4C 1S6
