Elyjah Jeremiah Mahommed Brown

Elyjah was born on February 18, 2007, in Jamaica, where he spent most of his life surrounded by family, culture, and community. On December 11, 2025, at the tender age of 18, Elyjah transitioned peacefully to his heavenly home, leaving behind hearts forever changed by his presence.

Elyjah later moved to Canada three years ago, where he continued to grow, learn, and shine. He was a Grade 12 student at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School, where he was well known and respected by his teachers and peers.

A lover of sports, Elyjah was a skillful and passionate football (soccer) player, admired for both his talent and sportsmanship. He also enjoyed playing video games and had a deep love for music, with Chris Brown and Vybz Kartel among his favorite artistes.

Elyjah was kind-hearted, fun-loving, respectful, and full of life. His great sense of humor could light up any room, and he had a gentle way of making others feel comfortable and valued. Above all, Elyjah was a lover of God, often reminding those around him that "God is with us." His faith was not only spoken but lived, and it continues to inspire those he leaves behind.

Elyjah is lovingly remembered by his mother, Casey; father, Moses; step-father, Odene; and his brother, Ronaldo, along with extended family members, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though his life on earth was brief, Elyjah's impact was profound. His smile, laughter, faith, and love will remain forever etched in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that he now sleeps peacefully, embraced by God's unfailing love.
