Jean passed away peacefully in her sleep at Sunrise of Erin Mills in Mississauga, Ontario. She was just one week short of her 96th birthday.

Jean was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She emigrated to Montreal shortly after her marriage to Jack Corrance in 1953. After spending the early years in Brampton and Cambridge (Galt) she finally settled in Oakville in 1978. After Jack passed away in 1980 she remarried and enjoyed 33 years with her second husband Peter until he passed away in 2019.

Jean was the mother of Alan (Debbie), John and Yvonne as well as Nana to her only grandson, Alex (deceased). Stepmother to Roger (Cathy) and Jane (Justine) as well as aunt to Sandra (Harry) Clelland.

She enjoyed life at home tending to her garden and entertaining friends. With Peter she also enjoyed outdoor adventures like canoeing and camping, as well as travelling the world. She had a lifetime of experiences with many friends and family. She is loved and will be fondly remembered.

A small private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
