The family of Elizabeth sadly announces her death at Chartwell Long Term Care Residence in Oakville after a lengthy illness.

Elizabeth was born in St John's, Newfoundland on April 20, 1939 and is predeceased by her parents Kevin and Laura Mae Murphy.

She is survived by her loving husband William and her three children; Nancy Woolmer (Michael) of Oakville, William N. B. Woolmer of Medicine Hat, Alberta and James Woolmer of Vancouver as well as her 2 grandchildren Austin Tucker (Patricia) and Sierra Tucker.  Elizabeth is also survived by her siblings Robert, Pauline and Anne Marie and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook and homemaker to her family.  She worked in the financial services industry prior to her retirement in 2002.

She and her husband William enjoyed many vacations to the Florida Keys, Cuba and a number of cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska.  Motor trips across Canada including Banff and Jasper were memorable to her but her favorite spot was her beautiful island cottage in Georgian Bay where she spent many summers enjoying the tranquility and solitude.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow.  For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
