Mum wanted to go on her own terms, and she did. She passed on Thursday, January 10th with her family by her side. She leaves behind her husband Robert, her children David (Peggy), Mary and Fr. John and her grandchildren Katie and Michael. She is also survived by her sisters Magdalen (Arthur Lydiate) and Lillian (Stan Burgess) and their families in England. As a midwife in England and Hong Kong, Mum brought many new lives into the world. She immigrated to Canada in 1954 and has touched many lives throughout her long life here as a nurse, mother and friend. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff on 1 East at OTMH for your kindness, understanding and gentle care. In a very difficult job, you are amazing.
