It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Garven on May 8 ^th , 2023. She passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 99 ^th year. Betty is predeceased by her husband Hugh of 51 years. Betty is survived by her four children Hugh (Debbie), Margaret (Scott), Sheila (John) and Jim, six grandchildren Jennifer, Lauren (Andrew), Matthew, Ian, David, and Andrew and two great grandchildren Liam and Spencer. Betty also leaves behind her brother Bob. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Adam, and her sisters Helen, Barbara, and Margaret.

At Betty's request, cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W. in Oakville on June 5 ^th , 2023 at 1p.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. John's United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville L6J 1P9 would be greatly appreciated.
