On November 22, 2008 Elizabeth Flynn of Barrie, formerly of Burlington, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Mary, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Flynn. Beloved mother of Mary Flynn (Paul) of Barrie, Kathleen Knowland (David) of Florida, Gwen Flynn (Gord) of Burlington and Elizabeth Flynn (Jeff) of California. Cherished Nanny of Patrick McGuire (Terri), Dan McGuire (Janene), Amy St. John (Mike) and Kate Steuernol. Much loved Great-Nanny of Dallas, Sydney, Taitum, Ryleigh, Finnley and Nolan. Bess will be greatly missed by her brother and sisters in Ireland and Florida. Also loved by Kaley, Tim and Benjamin Hepburn; Jill, Tony, Mackenzie and Colson Marchand; Jodi, Brian and Madelyn Grice, and Ashley Knowland. Special thanks to Eileen, Allison and Kelly for their love and support. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday November 27, 2008 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Ave., Burlington, Ontario. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville.
