VANDECAMP (nee Brouwer) Elisabeth

It is with great sadness but peace in our hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother (Sytje) Elisabeth VandeCamp, in her 94th year, on August 29, 2023.  Elisabeth is predeceased by her husband Toon in 2017. She will be sadly missed by her children Joanne, Tony (Luanne), Nick (Brenda), Elly (Walter), Sharon (Paul) and Kelly. She will be fondly remembered by her Grandchildren Justin, Caitlyn (Ben), Lucaas (Kendra), Blake, Shane, Troy and Taeya.  Predeceased by her grandson Jacob.  She will be missed by her great grandchildren, Lila, Elias and Edith.

Elisabeth is predeceased by her sister Annie.  She will be missed by her sister Leny and brother Nick (Gurtie). She will be fondly remember by her extended family and many nieces and nephews here in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the Netherlands. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W (one block east of Kerr) Oakville.  Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service at 2:00 pm.  Light refreshments to follow.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada .
