Elaine Margaret Dixon Bloomfield

Peacefully at Ian Anderson House in Oakville on June 29, 2017 at the age of 68, in the presence of her loving husband Bruce and dear sister Lois. Elaine was born in Montreal on July 25, 1948 to the Late Margaret MacKenzie and Clifford Dixon.

Beloved wife of Bruce for whom Elaine was his Sunshine. Loving daughter-in-law of Audrey Henry and the Late Howard.  Dear sister of Lois Hulme (the Late Fred). Loving sister-in-law of Gwen Dixon (the Late Colin), Janet Fraser (Brian), Rick Bloomfield (Lisa), and the Late Diane Bloomfield.

Elaine will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Bruce wishes to thank all the caregivers and staff of Credit Valley Hospital Oncology Department, Princess Margaret Hospital, the caregivers of the Halton C.C.A.C. and the loving and caring staff of Ian Anderson House. Special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Myers and Dr. Lynn Benjamin.

Visitation at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, Oakville, on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., Funeral Service at 12:00 noon, Paul Chappel Celebrant.  Reception at Kopriva Taylor will follow the service.  Interment will take place Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Cooke's Cemetery in Pefferlaw at 1:00 p.m.
