Passed away peacefully on Sunday March 24, 2013 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Halina for 56 years. Loving father of Ronald of Winnipeg and Richard (Leanne). Dear brother of Helen (Harry) of Newcastle. Predeceased by sister Lee. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Loving brother-in-law to Krystyna Czernicki of Guelph. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 6-9 pm on Wednesday March 27, 2013 with Rosary and commemoration at 7:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to say a few words after the reading of the Rosary. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Anthony's Polish Catholic Church, 40 John Street, Oakville. Burial to take place at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, 1149 Dundas St. W., Oakville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
