It is with love and admiration for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Ed on Sunday November 30, 2008. Predeceased by his loving wife Joan, his parents and his younger brother George. Ed was a loving father to Susan Cooper-Jones (Donald), Linda (Les) Kreiner and Donna (Bruce) Tomlinson. Loving Grandpa to Jamie, Ryan, Michelle, Julia, Matthew, Michael and Cooper – he was proud of you all. Ed will be loved and remembered by his dear friend Marjorie, his brother John (Norma) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Remembered for his devotion to family and friends, quick wit and lively sense of humour, Ed always had a "quick story to tell". Thank you to the kind and compassionate staff of Delmanor, CCAC nursing staff and the staff of 4E at OTMH. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9 pm Thursday. A service to celebrate Ed's life will be held at 11:00 am Friday December 5, 2008 in the Kopriva Taylor Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you honour Ed's compassion and generosity with a donation to a charity of your choice.
