Edward D. Bateman

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the passing of Ted Bateman at Wyndham Manor in Oakville on December 29, 2022. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Margaret Bateman, Ted is now with his beloved wife Rosanne, who died in 2017. Ted's passing is mourned by close cousins Julie (Ted) Baldwin, Donna Harris (Francesca Warriner), Duncan (Mary) McCallum and their families, including those who will especially miss "Uncle Teddy".

We are grateful for the support and care provided by special friends Sally and Peter Ryan during the progression of Ted's health issues over the past six years.

Ted was born and raised in Mount Brydges, Ontario. After earning a Business degree from the University of Western Ontario, he went on to become a Chartered Accountant. Later in life he followed his passion by earning a degree in Interior Design from Ryerson University. He enthusiastically gardened, travelled, and enjoyed shopping for just the right antique. Ted was a long-time member of St. John's United Church.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate and honour Ted's life will be held at a later date.
