(Ed, Eddie) - 1936-2010
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Edouard D.Boudreau an amazing man, father, Pepere and husband at the age of 73.
He passed away peacefully, with his family at his side after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer on January 22nd at the Ian Anderson House. He was the son of the late Edouard and Emma (Hachey) Boudreau.
Ed is survived by his loving wife Annette and his three adoring daughters Gisele (Rick ) Hassard, Marissa (George) Murdych, and Monique Czerlau (Steve Kapogines). He will be greatly missed by his 6 grandchildren Richelle, Derek, Dale, Bradley, Sara, Steven and many nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his 2 sisters Cecile Oxner and Yvonne Leblanc and predeceased by his 3 brothers Camille, Leonard and Donald.
Ed was a dedicated Town of Oakville employee, retiring after 34 years of service as an Engineering Technologist. He was a dedicated family man who devoted his time to his wife, three girls and their families. Ed had many friends. Everyone who met Ed loved him. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was often the centre of any gathering.
Visitation to be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville with a service celebrating Ed's life on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kopriva Chapel. Reception will follow.
