After finishing High School she worked for the Bell for 6 years. She married John in 1956 and they went to Europe where they started a family. Two years later they returned to Canada and she pursued a career as a loving mother and raised four children. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and listening to the radio in her spare time. Bernice was a deeply religious person and prayed for the souls of her children. For the last 7 years, Bernice struggled with dementia. The family would like to thank the many caregivers at Wesburn Manor for their exceptional care and support. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and friends. We were blessed to have had her in our lives, she will be missed but never forgotten.
