Peacefully, with her children around her, on Sunday June 5, 2011 at Burloak Longterm Care, Burlington, in her 91st year. Edie, beloved wife of the late Norman. Loved mother of Rob and his wife Susan, Judi (Tildy) and her husband Doug Magee, Nance and her husband Rod Waterman, Nor and his wife Patti, Candy and her husband Richard Skrtich. Dear grandmother of Graeham, Kaitlyn, Rachael, and Nicholas. Sister to Dorothy McSherry and Helen Matthysse and cousin to Jackson Worthington. Predeceased by her sister Edna Esler and parents James Howitt and Lillian Watson. Special thanks to the staff and her special friends/caregivers at Burloak for the years of loving care provided to Edie and her family. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Oakville and Milton Humane Society or to a charity of your choice. A memorial service to commemorate the life of Edie will take place at a later date.
