It is with sudden and great sadness to announce the passing of Edgar on Saturday,  September 9th, 2017 at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, at the age of 55. Beloved husband of Tanya Kareyra and son of Jack Rebelo Carreira and Maria Isabel Costa, survived by his son Brandon Carreira. He will be greatly missed by his family , friends and colleagues.

Friends and family will be received at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd West in Oakville, on Saturday September 16th, 2017 at 1:00 pm. A memorial service will commence at 2:00 pm in the chapel with reception to follow.
