After a brief illness, on Friday September 7, 2007 at the McCall Centre. Eastern, 60 years young, went to be with the Lord. Beloved husband of Norma (Stoddard) Jeffers. Dear father of Suzette, Otis, Skeeter and Rohan. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Joyce (Robert Mortimer) Angela, Pam and Valcina, two brothers Ezekiel (Connie) and Uriah (Christine). Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 6-9pm Thursday. A Service to Celebrate the life of Eastern will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 14, 2007 at Faith Baptist Church, 1415 Trafalgar Road, Oakville. Interment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
