Coate, Douglas Frederick Shirley
September 30, 1931 – November 1, 2025

Died peacefully in Oakville with his wife Patricia by his side.
Loving father of Geoff (Heather), Heather (Leonard), proud Grandad of Kalvin and D'Arcy. Also survived by his sister Liz Rhodes.
Fondly remembered as 'Dougie' to Julia, Anita, Maria, Nick (Andy) and Pat's grandchildren, Taylor, Holly, Tristen, Jack, Will and Josie.
Predeceased by his mother, Esther Gwendolyn Coate (nee Wilkes), father Walter Shirley Coate and his first wife Suzette (nee DeWolf).

A service will be held on Thursday November 6th, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St. Judes Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Doug's memory.
