Passed away peacefully at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family. Dear wife for 50 years to the late Reverend Ian Dingwall (2010). Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dorothy taught elementary school and ESL, most recently teaching ESL at Circle of Friends in Hamilton. Dorothy leaves behind 3 cherished children; Stephen (Randi Warne), Brenda Clarke (Tim) and Christine Pollard (Tom); sister Margaret Dingwall and many nieces and nephews. She was beloved Grandma to Michael, Taylor, Katie and Noah. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore R. W., (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) Oakville, on Tuesday from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at St. Christopher's Church, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Matthew's House Summer Camp Fund.
