After a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Doris died peacefully in her 75th year at Oakville-Trafalgar Hospital on April 8, 2012. Beloved wife of 50 years to Jim, and adored mother of Linda (Chris), Gale, Theresa (Steve). Predeceased by her parents, Doris and James Frederick. Cherished sister of the late Helen, the late Patricia, Shirley (Dino) and Brian (the late Marie-Paule). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Justin, Jessica (Tyler), James, Jodi Chloe and Liam and her great-grandchildren Colt and Rylee. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Cremation to follow. Her sense of humour, stubbornness and love of life will be forever remembered by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated.
