IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Doris Ann
Johnston
April 10, 1936 – December 27, 2025
On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Doris Johnston succumbed after a brave battle with cancer.
Through divine intervention and the unwavering support of her loving husband Arthur Johnston and children; Gordon, Patricia and Jennifer, she was able to extend her time to celebrate significant milestones including her 89th birthday and their 71st wedding anniversary surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of their home.
Doris was the daughter of James Robert Teague and Gertrude Elizabeth Goode; the sister of James, Robert, Allan, Gertrude, Darlene, Dennis, and Shawn. Survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Arthur Johnston. The mother of Gordon, Patricia, Jennifer; grandmother of Benjamin and Rachel; great great grandmother of Judah, Josiah, Maddox and Malcolm; She was "Auntie Doe" to many more.
This world has lost a great prayer warrior!
We are deeply grateful to the personal support workers and nurses who provided exceptional care to our mother, becoming an integral part of our family. Furthermore, we were blessed with a compassionate doctor who guided us through this challenging journey and facilitated her transition to Ian Anderson House. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ian Anderson House for ensuring our mother's final days were free from pain.
