Passed away peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Born in Crumlin, South Wales, beloved husband of Kathleen Mary for 55 years and dearly loved father of Richard Trevor and father-in-law of Deborah Vivien Tihanyi, much loved uncle to Anthony John Williams, Doreen Patricia Welsh and Teresa Radford. Baritone, soloist, chorister and lover of every kind of music, popular and classical. Member of the Welsh National Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Hamilton Opera Company, Canadian Orpheus Male Choir, St. John's United Church Chancel Choir, and so many others, too numerous to name. Member of the General Chris Yokes, Bronte Legion Branch 486. Trained as a tool and die maker in the UK, received a Diploma of Technical Education from the University of Toronto and Professor at Mohawk College for 18 years. Visitation on Saturday, March 14, 2 - 4 pm (Legion Poppy Service at 2 pm) and 7 - 9 pm at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, Ontario. Funeral service on Sunday, March 15, 2 pm at St. John's United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
