IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald Norman
Webster
January 9, 1953 – August 22, 2022
On behalf of my family, I would like to begin by thanking everyone who sent their condolences. It's been comforting during this difficult time and it's a reminder of the impact that Don had on so many others. Don Webster born in 1953 – 2022 and is survived by his sister Marilyn, brother-in-law Michael Alexander and many fantastic friends.
My name is Marilyn, I am Dons older sister. As many of you know Don was the coolest person and friend anyone could ever have. In his younger years he worked as a well know DJ at CFTR going by the name of "Broadway Bobby Day". He brought daily joy to all his listeners with his distinguishable voice and soothing dulcet tones. One of the highlights of his carrier was when he MC'd for an Elvis Presley New Years Eve concert in Pontiac, Michigan. Don was full of life and was downright fun. Most importantly, he had an eternal love for his family and friends.
I admired my brother on so many levels. If you were a friend of Don's, you know how he would always go out of his way to make you feel comfortable and let you know he really valued your friendship. If you were ever feeling down, he would know just the right thing to say to cheer you up. His closest friend Stanley Taylor who knew him best would always say "Don was a stand-up guy and a great friend to have by your side". He had a great sense of humor and will be severely missed by family and friends.
If Don was here today, he would want us to be strong and he would want us to do what makes us happy and stick together and have each other's back and treat people the way he wanted to be treated.
I make one last promise to my brother, I will never forget who he was and what he taught me. I will live my life being the very best sister, friend, wife, and women he would have wanted me to be.
Love you, Don! Thank you!
