Donald Wilbert Towne of Oakville Ontario passed away peacefully on Saturday Feb 27th Donald was a passionate man who enjoyed history, golf, football, working around the house and garage and most of all his family. Donald was extremely loving and proud of his two daughters - Robyn & Jackie Towne and two granddaughters - Emma Towne & Mackenzie Small. He is survived by his beloved wife Cecilia Towne. There will be a viewing on Tuesday March 1 2016 between 2-4 & 7-9 at Kopriva Taylor – (64 Lakeshore Rd. West Oakville) and a Funeral service at the same location on Wednesday March 2nd at 11 am. After the ceremony we will be holding a celebration of life at the Legion Branch 114 - 36 Upper Middle Rd. East – Oakville. The family has asked in Lieu of flowers they would like donations made to the Heart and Stroke foundation in his name.
