It is with a sense of sadness and joy that we say good bye to our dear husband and father Donald Easson on March 1, 2013 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. Surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren he peacefully went home to be with Jesus. He was a much loved husband of Barbara and cherished father of Glyn, Gay (Stephen) and Kim (Miles); treasured grandfather of Michael, Brendan, Andrew, Jeremy, Sarah, Katie, Joel and Rachel. He leaves us with an inspiring example of Christlikeness, living his life to the full, with love, courage, grace and kindness toward his family, many friends, and to the stranger. The family would like to thank the Emergency, ICU and 4 Centre staff at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, and at Post Inn Village for their incredible care and dedication. A service to celebrate Don's life will take place at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Tuesday, March 5th at 1:00 pm, with visitation prior to the service from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. There will also be a reception following the service.
