Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital in Oakville, ON on September 14, 2015 at the age of 83. Mrs. Buckland was born on December 12, 1931 in Sydney, NS to her parents, Percy and Isabella. Mrs. Buckland was patient and supportive, inspiring love and dedication to all who came in contact with her. She had the gift of kindness and understanding. Her devotion to her husband and family was momentous. Mrs. Buckland is survived by her sons Stephen of Sydney, NS, Terry of Burlington, ON (wife Cathy), Paul of Brooks, AB, Mark, and Adam of Oakville, ON, Daughter-in-law Caroline of Burlington, ON, 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen and son Don. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca St, Oakville, ON, Saturday September 19, 2015 at 10 a.m.
