It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of David Peter Butterworth. David passed away suddenly at home on October 30, 2023, at the age of 55.

Born in Plymouth, England, he was predeceased by his mother, Charmaine Howard. He is survived by his loving spouse, Kathy Hoang and his three beautiful children, Isabelle, Vyn (Eva), and Penelope Butterworth. His siblings, Amanda, Colin, and Kevin Butterworth will also remember him with love and pride.

As a devoted husband and father, David's love knew no bounds. He was a fierce protector, a constant source of strength and support, and a warm presence that lit up his family's lives. He will be remembered for his sharp wit and dry sense of humour that never failed to bring smiles to those around him. His love for reading and music was infectious, inspiring everyone he met. He had a huge heart for those less fortunate and a deep compassion for animals.

A very special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Joseph Brant Hospital for David's care throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 5 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home.
