On Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Wyndham Manor in Oakville, our dear Mother passed away peacefully in her 92nd year. Daisy was born in Little Current, Manitoulin Island on May 29, 1916. Pre-deceased by her dear late husband Frank Crosland, and her mother, Florence McDougall. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Pat and son-in-law Ken Smith, and her son Lawrence and his companion Jane Oakes. She leaves four grandchildren: Jim and his wife Jackie, Graham and his wife Mary Ellen, Kenneth, Richard and his wife Wynsome. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Christina. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Audrey Lee (Crosland). Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 12 Noon on Monday, April 7, 2008 with a Service Celebrating the Life of Daisy in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Private Family Interment St. Jude's Cemetery.
