In his 90 ^th year, Cornelis (Cor) van Walsum passed away peacefully at the Post Inn Village in Oakville, on July 26, 2019. Born November 8, 1929 in the Netherlands. Moved to Canada in 1955, where he pursued his career as a Professional Engineer, in the cement industry, with Holderbank (HOLCIM) of Switzerland. Beloved husband of Germaine (nee Stassar) for 64 years. Dear father of Sylvia van Walsum (and her husband, William Poaps). Predeceased by his son, Robert.

Enjoyed his travels, family events, languages, XC skiing, exercise classes, and listening to music. Memorial service to be held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home 64 Lakeshore Rd W. Oakville (one block east of Kerr St.) at 11 am, Friday September 20, 2019 with reception to follow.
