Obituary

Born in Quebec on July 14, 1931, Corinne passed into the next life on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  From her return to Canada in 2013, Corinne was a faithful member of the Catholic Woman's League in St. Andrew's and St. Dominic's Parishes.  A long time resident of Bermuda, the creative and hardworking Corinne ran the family's renowned Reid Street Cafe.  A great cook, Corinne found much joy in entertaining.  She also greatly enjoyed her many trips around the world, special favourites being the Holy Land and the Far East.  A very generous woman, Corinne was always helping others, in the background, without calling attention to herself, as for example when she completely renovated the apartment of an elderly widow.  Predeceased by her husband Stephen Rendell Tungate and son Michael Craggs, Corinne will be greatly missed by her beloved daughters Mary Charlene Gabriel and Carol Ann Tungate, as well as her grandchildren Alisha and Maryssa, their husbands, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville at 11 am.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill.
