In loving Memory of Constantino Silveira Dutra, April 19, 2024.

Constantino peacefully departed this life at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.  Constantino was the beloved husband of Maria for 64 years, a devoted father to Goretti (Joe) and Richard (Maria). Constantino was cherished by his six grandchildren, all residing nearby: Sharon (Mike), Brian, Rachel (Matt), Erica (David), Amanda (Anthony), and Scott (Ashleigh). Additionally, he was blessed to witness the joy of his three great-grandchildren, Landon, Brody, and Ava, whom he adored and held close to his heart. Born on October 18, 1931, in Faial, Azores, Portugal, Constantino embarked on a journey to Canada in his early twenties, on March 27, 1954, in pursuit of a better life. His ventures led him through various cities in Ontario, starting in Simcoe, then onward to Thunder Bay. From there, he ventured to Oakville, briefly explored the sunny  state of California, USA, before ultimately returning to his cherished home in Oakville, where he built a life with his beloved family. Constantino was a hardworking man, filled with courage and determination. He faced life's challenges with grace, never daunted by the uncertainties it presented. His warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever resonate in our memories.

May Constantino's soul find eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 25,2024 from 3-5 and 6-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Friday April 26,2024 at 10 am. at St. James Roman Catholic Church 231 Morden Rd. Oakville. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
