Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home, on Sunday, November 18th 2012.
He was the very proud father of Sarah (Richard), Shannon and Daniel, and beloved husband to Lesley.
He is also survived by his sister Judith, and brother Mark, and pre-deceased recently by his sister Pauline.
He enjoyed a long career in various enterprise architecture positions, travelling extensively, working with banking clients around the world, liking nothing better than to tackle complex problems and work methodically to find solutions.
A naturalist in his youth, he had recently rediscovered a love of fishing and immersed himself in learning everything he could about it, rapidly becoming a knowledgeable and proficient fly fisherman. He spent many happy hours with family and friends last summer, roaming through rivers and streams, practicing his new sport and enjoying the natural beauty of Ontario.
His loss has been a shock to his immediate family as well as his friends and acquaintances who knew him to be a man of intense passion for family and friends, combined with a pragmatic, common-sense approach to life. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 4391 Harvester Road, Unit 7
