Claudette McDonald October 23, 1931 - Aug. 5, 2022

Marie Claudette McDonald (neé Rivet) passed away peacefully Friday August 5, 2022 surrounded by family. Devoted wife of George McDonald who passed away in 2012. Loving mother to; David, his wife Wendy and granddaughter Shannon (Christian) and great granddaughter. The late Brian, his surviving wife Cindy, grandchildren Brittany (Jon), Melissa (Nicholas) and Joel; Kevin, his wife Despina, and granddaughter Chrissa.

Claudette was born in Timmins and did her schooling in Sturgeon falls. She later moved to Ottawa where she met her husband and they were married in North Bay. Claudette was a very creative person and her home was filled with beauty. She was a devout Catholic and active member of the community in Waterloo where she spent her retirement years with her husband. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital for all their care, compassion and support. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
