It is with great sadness that the family of Claude Lessard announces his passing on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, at the age of 91 years. Claude will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Lillian(nee Ackerman), and by his children Blanche (Peter), Bernard, Lucy (Bryan), and Louise (Bruce). He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Andrea, Ryan, Kevin, Sara, Kristen, Geoffrey, Shauna, Russell, and Gillian, and his great-grandchildren Aimee and Elise, and by his brothers Rheal, Laurent and Georges.
Claude was predeceased by his brothers Roger and Gilles and by his sisters Rollande and Huguette. A visitation and prayer service will be held on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at The Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville, Ontario L6K 1E1. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 10th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saint Matthew Catholic Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, Ontario L6M 1M2. Interment will be at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 580 Old York Road, Burlington, Ontario.
