In Loving Memory of Chesley & Margaret Hornibrook

Chesley Hornibrook was born on March 4, 1933, and died on July 31, 2022 at the age of 89.

Margaret Davidson was born on September 5, 1941, and died on March 1, 2019 at the age of 77.

Chesley is survived by his four Sisters, Margaret Ryan, Janet MacLeod, Mary MacRae and Lois Hughes. Margaret is survived by her Sister Ethel Murray, and has four late Brothers, Gordon, Wendell, Dellas and Frazer Davidson.

Marg and Ches were both from New Brunswick, and they first met when they worked at The Daily Gleaner newspaper in Fredericton. They Married in March of 1960, and had two children, brothers Kevin and Steven. Sadly, Steve passed away in 2013, just shy of his 49th Birthday. The Family moved from Fredericton to Saint John, then to Ottawa, Toronto, and finally settled in Oakville, Ontario in 1969.Marg was a hard working and very dedicated Housewife, and a very loving Mother to her two Boys.

After starting from humble beginnings growing up on the Farm, through lots of hard work, Ches eventually worked his way up the Corporate ladder, first at Sears, then moving to Goodyear Canada where he started off as Advertising Manager, and ended his career as General Manager of OE Sales. Both Marg and Ches had many very good close friends and neighbours throughout the community. They both loved to Golf and were long standing Members at St. Paul's United Church after arriving in Oakville.

As per their wishes, both Marg and Ches requested Cremation with no Funerals.

In lieu of Flowers, any donations should go to either Kidney Foundation in Memory of Margaret, or Diabetes Canada in Memory of Chesley.
