Peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in her 95th year, surrounded with love. Cherished mother to Joe (Maria), Lino, Lucy (Terry), Steve (Victoria) and Mary (Jay). Loving grandmother of Rina (Rick), Andy (Cathy), Danny (Lori), Jonathan (Lisa), Natalie (Casey), Michael (Lauren), Tara, Destyni and Ashlin Dakota and great-grandmother of Joey, Catrina, Helena and Lianna. Dear sister to Carmen, Costanza, Bruno and Giuseppina. Caterina is predeceased by her loving husband Anselmo, whom she will meet again soon. The family would like to express our most sincere thanks and gratitude to OTMH who exemplified the utmost compassion and professionalism in both our parents' final days. Sincere thanks to Dr. Skupsky who tended to Caterina for almost 40 years. Most sincere thanks to Lucy and Joe for the beautiful and loving care that they took of our parents on an almost daily basis. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, September17, 2014 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville.
