Carolyn Ann Rapp of Oakville | 1941 - 2019 | Obituary

Carolyn passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on November 30, 2019 in Oakville. She was born on June 10th, 1941 in Paris, Ontario. Carolyn and her older sister Donna were raised by their loving parents Margaret (Hood) and Norman Dance. After graduating from the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing in London, Ontario, she spent over 40 years as a dedicated and caring Registered Nurse. Carolyn is survived by George, her loving husband of almost 50 years. She was a cherished mother of Kim and Greg (Nadine), and grandmother of Tori and Jacob.

Carolyn enjoyed a beautiful life filled with happy times spent with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a warm, caring, helpful person who was always thinking of others. She spent many years as a 'swim mom', taking her children to workouts and swim meets across Canada and through Europe. She continued to attend competitions when her grandchildren took up the sport. The best times for Carolyn always involved socializing with family and friends.  She enjoyed planning and attending family reunions, her bridge club and playing euchre.  She experienced many travels and beach vacations, and later enjoyed as much time as she could with George and many friends at their condo in Florida. Carolyn will be sadly missed by all.
