Carol Anne Murphy-Glass passed peacefully in her sleep on February 27, 2017 at Ian Anderson House in Oakville. Her loving husband Stan and three children; Marley, Kerrie (Sonny), and Brent (Noelle) were by her side.  Known affectionately as Nana she was a proud and doting grandmother to Declan, Kaitlin, Riley and Brenna, and caring stepmother to Stanley (Cindy) and Lynn-Marie (Andrew).  She will also missed by her sisters Fran (Walt) and Lynn (Paul) as well as her nieces and nephews, Corey, Jennifer, Greg and Shane.

Carol was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who touched many lives and brought joy to all she met. She was a strong independent woman who ran her own real estate business for over 20 years.  She had an infectious love of travel and always found times for getaways to Sauble Beach one of her most cherished spots.

The family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Ian Anderson house for their care and compassion in helping her through her final days.

A celebration of Carols life will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. with visitation taking place one hour prior.
