In loving memory of Carlos Dall’Orso, of Lima, Peru, who passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on Thursday January 22, 2026, at home in Mississauga. Born on April 27, 1927, to Carlos and Luisa, he married Nelly Patino on June 14, 1958, and they were married for 57 years. They had 3 children: Carlos, Aldo and Liliana. He and his wife moved to Canada in 1994, after retirement, to follow his children Carlos and Liliana who had already emigrated to Canada. He attended the Italian School and then graduated as a Chemical Engineer from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. Carlos was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and most recently great grandfather. Carlos and Nelly loved their grandchildren and looked after them when they were little. He loved Canada and visiting his home country frequently. He enjoyed family gatherings, Peruvian food, and politics. Carlos is survived by his three children and nine grandchildren Franco, Claudia, Alessandro, Aldo, Bruno, Valeria, Alessandra, Fiamma, and Isabella, and two great grandchildren: Luca and Leo. He is predeceased by the death of his parents and his sisters Teresa, Dora and Yolanda. Carlos will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, charisma, full of life spirit, and love for his family. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 26, 2026 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, (one block East of Kerr Street) from 5pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 27, 2026 at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville at 11 am. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
