Obituary

After a life fully lived. Ian died surrounded by his family on January 24, 2010 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario. Ian was born in Inverness, Scotland in 1934 and emigrated to Canada in 1948. He was educated in Schools in Vancouver BC; UBC and the Anglican Theological College. Ordained Deacon in May 1961 and Priest in May of 1962. He served parishes in Agassiz, Vancouver, Oakville, and Niagara-on-the-Lake, and also served as Executive Officer of the Diocese of Niagara. He leaves his wife Dorothy, son Stephen (Randi Warne), daughters Brenda Clarke (Tim) and Christine Pollard (Tom), and he was beloved poppa to Michael, Taylor, Katie, and Noah, and also leaves many nieces and nephews, sisters Connie Chisholm, Flora Nalliah, Mary MacKenzie and brother Donald and was predeceased by his sister Peggy Peebles. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 27th at Christ's Church Cathedral, 252 James Street N., Hamilton, ON.
