Passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Lucille (Maxner) formerly of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Dear father of Allen (Sylvia) and Bryan. He was a loving husband and father, sports enthusiast, a true gentleman and generous friend. His dry sense of humour and character made his presence a special gift to all who knew him. He will be missed by all the people he touched. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr Street, 905-844-2600) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of life service for Dr. Walsh will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville, ON L6J 1C5 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Anglican Church.
