Peacefully at home in the arms of the Lord and surrounded by his loving family, we announce with great sadness the passing of Burney Reeve on Saturday, April 4, 2009. Predeceased by son Danny Reeve, great-grandson Duncan Stewart Bennett and sister June Robbinson. Survived by loving wife of 59 years Evangeline Bessie Marie (Lewis), daughters Debbie Goddard, Barbara (Paul Stewart), Ann-Louise (Harold Seidenberg), Valerie Goddard-Duncan (Jim) and son, Arthur (Dawn) and sister Mary Berrill. Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren, their spouses and 5 great-grandchildren along with other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A service celebrating Burney's life will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Queensway Cathedral, 1536 The Queensway, Toronto. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens.
