It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.

Brian emigrated to Canada in 1974 from Salford, Lancashire, England where he settled in Oakville, ON with his young family. He worked as a refrigeration technician although his life long passion was soccer. Working with various clubs including Oakville Soccer Club, Penn State, Canadian National teams and Sheridan College as a coach and mentor coach, Brian's passion to influence young talent in the art of soccer and life was truly what he excelled at. His main philosophy "Personal Pride" was taught in everything he did.

He is predeceased by parents Ernest and Mildred and sister June Cawly (Colin). Brian is survived by his wife of 56 years Pat, brother Ernie (June) and niece Yvonne. He is also survived by his children Lisa and Peter (Debbie) and four loving grandchildren Dylan, Billy, Jake and Alex.
